Limestone paving with slate tiles

This is a south-facing garden on the fringes of Epping Forest.

The brief  from the owners was to create a large patio area for entertaining that would work

as a natural extension of the house.

Our solution was to create a terraced area using Cotswold Limestone partly enclosed by low rendered walls finished with Midnight Blue Slate Tiles.

Blue Glazed pots were planted up with Agapanthus,Lavender and Lobelia to reflect the blue and white colour scheme.

The perimeter was enclosed by new closeboard fencing and planted with Jasmine, Clematis and Honeysuckle.
