Summer is officially here and it’s time for the Annual Chelsea Flower Show.
In 2004 I teamed up with the Sculptor Nick Rayburn to form Tantalus Gardens offering clients garden and exterior design with strong concepts.
With sponsorship from The Friends of Moorfields Eye Hospital and The David Family Charitable Trust we came up with ‘ The Focus Garden ’ which was selected for inclusion in the Chelsea Flower Show. The design was based around a central water feature in the shape of an eye encircled by I metre high steel leaf sculptures.
We chose a subtle colour palette combining the cool glaucous foliage of Eucalyptus trees and ornamental grasses to the rust and earthy purples of the delicately veined leaves.
