‘The Lost Gardens of Haringey’

This garden had been neglected for years and had become a tangle of overgrown brambles, nettles and bindweed. We spent three days clearing the undergrowth to reveal an elegant japanese acer and a small pond complete with frogs.

The owner had recently visited the Lost Gardens of Heligan in Cornwall with its subtropical gardens of tree ferns, banana plants and giant rhubarb.

She was keen to introduce similar lush planting into her new garden, suitable habitats for wildlife and a productive vegetable plot…. and also provide space for a small chicken run and a beehive!
